RUNNERS NOTE:

ALL runners are required to complete a mandatory gear check before receiving their race kits, where they will receive a race passport. Runners must show all mandatory gear required by the race organization (Rules and Regulations) to the participating race crew, which, depending on the gear, may include demonstrating both the race bag / backpack to be carried throughout the race and the drop bags. Should a runner be missing one or more pieces of equipment, he/she will not be allowed to pick up is his/her race kit. Once the runner has included the missing gear, he/she must repeat the mandatory gear check from the beginning. Race kits will only be issued to runners once the mandatory gear check has been completed successfully.

* The session at 11:00 and the session at 18:00 hrs. will be the same briefing. Each runner is only required to attend ONE of the race sessions for his/her respective race distance.

RUNNERS NOTE:

There will be a MANDATORY race briefing for all runners, which will be conducted in three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese. There will be four race briefings in total, two for the 50K Solo & Duo race distances and two for the 100M, 100K, and 70K race distances; runners are only required to attend one of the race briefings for their distance, as they are repeated sessions at different times. The venue for each language will be announced at a later date.

The purpose of the race briefing is to highlight the important points mentioned in both the Technical Guide and Rules & Regulations in order to better prepare each runner for his/her specific race distance. Please note that while it is the runner’s responsibility to read the Technical Guide and Rules & Regulations to ensure his/her safety, they do not serve as equivalents to attending the race briefing. Also, even though attendance may not be taken during the race briefing, it is the runner’s responsibility to attend one of the two sessions, depending on your race distance, at either 11:00 or 18:00 hrs.

RUNNERS NOTE:

A DROP BAG refers to a gear bag, primarily used for additional equipment and/or nourishment, to be placed at strategically designated aid stations. For example, this bag may include, but is not limited to, additional food, extra shoes or clothing, etc.

A FINAL BAG refers to a personal bag, primarily used for change of clothing and/or nourishment, to be placed at the Finish Line. For example, this bag may include, but is not limited to, additional food, change of clothing, etc.

Each runner will be issued a number of official drawstring bag(s) depending on his/her race distance:

RUNNERS NOTE:

Only the race’s official drawstring bag will be accepted as a Drop Bag / Final Bag. Runners are required to prepare these bags and then submit them to the race organization at the designated aforementioned time and location. NO BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE STARTING LINES.
